I would not say they're cancer. It implies the struggle against them can be won as much as it can be lost. Not true.

They're weed. Yes, they need to be removed and removing weed (fighting sin) is a constant struggle throughout eternity. But it's a never-ending struggle. You'll always have new Obamas, Hilarys etc.

They can't win that's for sure. But victory is not within our reach either. It's only in eternity and through Jesus Christ.
